Entry Level Public Relations Specialist

Baer Consulting is an entrepreneurial public relations and marketing firm specializing in healthcare. Bringing brands to life is what we do best.  The scope of our diverse projects encompasses consumer PR, health policy, sports marketing, celebrity campaigns, writing, public speaking and
much more.

Founded by Michele Baer in 2004, the company has expanded to a team of seven. We’re headquartered in Montclair, New Jersey, just 15 miles from New York City and very easily accessible from public transportation.

We’re looking for a recent graduate to join our team and help us grow
the company.

This is a unique opportunity with unlimited potential to get hands-on experience, working right alongside the company’s founder and President who spent more than a decade in senior positions at NYC public relations firms. Baer Consulting is a fun, nurturing and supportive environment that stresses teamwork and excellence in all we do. 

Duties include:

• Work as fully integrated member of client teams on
  direct-to-consumer PR and integrated marketing campaigns

• Participate in brainstorm sessions and client meetings

• Assist in national and grassroots media relations programs

• Help to create programs and new business presentations

• Conduct market research in support of current and potential programs

• Act as liaison with third-party partners, including graphic designers, video production companies, advertising firms, etc.

You’re the right candidate if you’re a self-starter, ambitious, passionate, candid and hard-working, with excellent attention to detail. Degree in journalism, PR, advertising, mass communications, marketing, English or business preferred. Internships strongly desired.
